Job description
Your mission
Do you have what it takes to lead high-performing sales teams?
For Tellent in the DACH, we are looking for someone to lead, empower, and scale a diverse team of sales professionals, including 8 people, BDRs and Account Executives. Your mission is to surpass ambitious sales targets, foster a culture of collaboration and growth, and maintain excellence across the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing. We’re seeking someone who is experienced in building and managing diverse sales teams, understands the complexities of the sales funnel, and can implement winning strategies that unlock the full potential of every team member.
About the Team
The DACH team is growing rapidly. The team covers the whole DACH territory and its mission is to develop the sales engine running and convert leads into long-term customers.
Your 12-month journey
First 3 months: Immerse yourself in Tellent’s culture, familiarize yourself with our products and services, and build strong relationships with the GTM teams. Evaluate the existing team dynamics, individual skill sets and hire the people missing. Refine sales strategies, set ambitious yet realistic performance targets, and establish best practices for the sales cycle. Lead by example by actively participating in prospecting, pipeline management, and deal closing to set the pace and model excellence.
After 6 months: Drive the team to meet and exceed quarterly sales and pipeline goals. Implement continuous improvement initiatives, including personalized coaching and skill development plans, to elevate team performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fine-tune processes and capitalize on market opportunities.
After 12 months: Establish a cohesive, high-performing sales team that consistently delivers on revenue and pipeline targets. The foundations for sustainable success are solid, with a clear vision and roadmap for scaling the sales team to drive Tellent’s growth in the DACH region.
What you'll be doing:
Build and manage a high-performing sales team, including BDRs and AEs, with a focus on hiring, coaching, and performance management.
Drive the team’s success across the entire sales funnel, from outbound prospecting to deal closing, ensuring all members exceed KPI metrics.
Develop and implement the overall sales strategy, aligning with Tellent’s broader GTM and revenue goals.
Utilize Hubspot and other sales enablement tools to track and manage pipeline performance, conversion rates, and deal progression.
Monitor and report on individual and team KPIs, such as revenue targets, pipeline growth, and win rates, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Collaborate closely with Revenue, Marketing, and Customer Success leaders to ensure alignment, maximize lead quality, and optimize the team impact.
Job requirements
What you'll bring to the team:
5+ years of SaaS sales experience, with at least 3+ years in managing diverse sales teams, including BDRs and Account Executives.
Proven track record in exceeding both personal and team quotas across various stages of the sales funnel.
Demonstrated success in onboarding, developing, coaching, and advancing sales talent, with a focus on building a team culture of high performance and collaboration.
Expertise in developing and executing outbound sales strategies and processes, tailored to drive predictable and scalable results.
A hands-on leadership style, actively engaging in deal strategy, and team development to lead by example.
Experience in recruiting, building, and scaling sales teams from the ground up, fostering a strong foundation for long-term growth and success.
