Your Mission:

As our Talent Development Manager your key responsibility is to design, implement and drive a comprehensive Talent Development strategy that helps unleash the full potential of our people and organization. In this role you will focus on Learning and Development (L&D) and Performance Management. You will ensure our employees are continuously growing, this involves creating a Learning and Development vision & strategy, identifying skills gaps, curating or developing relevant training programs, and creating clear pathways for career progression.


In the area of Performance Management, you will lead the design and execution of our performance review processes that are fair, transparent, and drive accountability, all while fostering a culture of continuous feedback and improvement. Your efforts will be critical in setting our people and organization up for success, ensuring that we not only attract top talent but also retain and develop our existing employees to achieve their full potential.


About the team:

You’ll be part of the Global People Team of 11 HR and Talent Acquisition professionals, and as a core member of both the Dutch and global team, you’ll report directly to our Head of People and take ownership of People Operations in the Netherlands and Germany. Your 12 month journey: 
During the first 3 months,
you will focus on understanding the team, company structure, and our current talent development processes. You will begin to lead your initial projects and build strong relationships across the organization to identify key stakeholders and opportunities for impact.

Within 6 months 
you will have successfully implemented several key projects. You will have a clear understanding of the organization’s strengths and areas for improvement, and you will have identified and initiated your first improvement projects. Additionally, you will have developed a forecast for the remainder of the year, outlining strategic priorities and objectives.

After 1 year
you will have established yourself as a key driver of our talent development strategy. You will have rolled out multiple high-impact initiatives, including a comprehensive learning and development curriculum, and optimized performance management processes. You will have delivered measurable improvements in employee engagement, performance, and retention, while ensuring a scalable talent development framework is in place for future growth.


What you'll be doing: 

  • Create a comprehensive talent development strategy aligned with the company’s goals and culture.

  • Develop and implement a strong performance management process aligned with our business strategy and high-performance culture.

  • Roll out training and support mechanisms for managers to enhance their team’s performance.

  • Develop a talent mapping process to identify key players and outline strategies for their development and retention.

  • Identify training needs across the organization.

  • Develop structured training programs to address these needs.

  • Create a blended learning program for employees, leaders, and teams.

  • Work closely with the People team to align talent development initiatives with overall HR strategies.

  • Help manage organizational changes by ensuring employees are equipped with the necessary skills and support.

  • Promote and reinforce the desired organizational culture and values.

Job requirements

What you'll bring to the team:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the area of Learning and Development and/or Performance Management.

  • Experience working in an international high performing environment.

  • Able to set clear priorities and focus on delivering results that really add value to the organization.

  • Able to push back or create support through strong stakeholder management on different levels of the organization.

  • Project management skill, from scoping to execution and delivering.

  • Excellent communication skills in English
