Job description

About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Content Designer to help shape the product experience through clear, thoughtful, and consistent language.

In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional product team, collaborating closely with the  UX Design, Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Customer Support teams. You will report to our Head of Support and Digital CX.

Your responsibilities will extend beyond writing microcopy. You will plan, create, and maintain content across the entire user journey, including in-app experiences, Help Center articles, and product videos.

You will help determine what information is presented to users, how it sounds, and how it’s displayed, with a focus on usability, clarity, and consistency.

What You’ll Do

UX Writing & Content Design

  • Write clear, user-centered product content including UI microcopy (such as tooltips, error messages, and empty states), onboarding flows, in-app notifications, product announcements, and support content.

  • Align content with voice, tone, accessibility, and localization guidelines.

  • Create and help maintain content standards and documentation for consistent language use across teams.

  • Occasionally create or script video content for product walkthroughs and updates.

Help Center Strategy & Documentation

  • Help with the creation, organization, and maintenance of Help Center content to ensure users can easily find the information they need.

  • Partner with the Support and Product teams to proactively identify knowledge gaps and reduce user friction.

  • Ensure all support content aligns with in-product copy, product updates, and UX principles.

  • Use SEO, user feedback, and behavioral insights to optimize content discoverability and clarity.

Collaboration & Research

  • Work closely with Designers, PMs, Engineers, Marketers, and Support team members to embed content into the product development process, from concept to launch.

  • Participate in design critiques, provide feedback, and advocate for content decisions.

  • Use user research, support data, and product analytics to validate and refine content strategies.

Quality & Consistency at Scale

  • Ensure all product and support content is on-brand, accessible, localization-ready, and consistent in tone, style, and terminology.

  • Lead content audits and provide actionable recommendations to improve the user experience through language.

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience as a UX Writer, Content Designer, or similar role within product teams.

  • Excellent command of English (C1/C2), both written and spoken.

  • A strong portfolio of UX and/or support content that demonstrates writing clarity, structure, and product thinking.

  • A solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and the role of content in user flows.

  • Ability to work proactively and independently, managing projects, meeting deadlines, and solving problems creatively.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Experience with content and design tools (e.g., Figma, CMS, or Help Center platforms like Zendesk or Intercom).

Bonus Points

  • Fluency in German, French, or Dutch.

  • Experience in scripting or producing simple product walkthrough videos.

  • Familiarity with localization processes or writing for global audiences.

  • Previous experience working in SaaS or other product-led environments.
