Job description

About the Team

Our DevOps team is responsible for maintaining and evolving the infrastructure across three distinct products. As efforts continue to integrate them into a single, more aligned product, we aim to standardize and unify our infrastructure while operating across multiple cloud providers (AWS and GCP). This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our platform and streamline operations across products.

Your 12-Month Journey

During the first 3 months:

  • Get familiar with our current infrastructure setup across AWS and GCP.

  • Collaborate with teams to understand ongoing product integration efforts and identify gaps in standardization.

  • Take ownership of CI/CD pipelines and automation processes.

  • Establish relationships with engineering teams to drive DevOps best practices.

Within 6 months:

  • Implement a common infrastructure strategy across products while ensuring flexibility for product teams.

  • Improve monitoring, logging, and incident management to enhance system reliability.

  • Develop automation solutions to reduce manual operations and optimize deployments.

  • Lead efforts to improve cost efficiency across cloud platforms.

After 1 year:

  • Achieve significant infrastructure unification, improving scalability, security, and automation.

  • Establish a mature DevOps culture focused on continuous improvement and high operational standards.

  • Drive strategic decisions on cloud consolidation, assessing the feasibility of a unified provider.

  • Build a strong DevOps team capable of supporting long-term infrastructure evolution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and automation.

  • Define and implement the DevOps roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, etc.).

  • Automate build, test, and deployment processes to improve efficiency and reliability.

  • Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for system visibility and incident response.

  • Drive standardization across infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security.

  • Act as first-line incident response, minimizing downtime and ensuring resilience.

  • Research and implement cutting-edge DevOps tools to enhance performance and security.
