Job description

As a Senior Account Executive in the French market, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and owning the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing. You will focus on acquiring new logos, building your own pipeline through outbound activities, and leveraging leads from partnerships and marketing initiatives. About the team

The Tellent France team has grown significantly over the past year and now covers all Go-To-Market functions, including Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Customer Success, and Support. As part of the Sales team, you will report directly to our Head of Sales for France. With more than 1,000 customers already using our products in France, our ambition is to continue this strong momentum and double both our revenue and customer base in the coming years.

Your 12-month journey as a Senior Account Executive

In your first three months, you will be fully onboarded and certified on Tellent’s product and sales process. You will start running your own discovery calls and demos independently and begin building your pipeline through outbound efforts and closing your first deals.

By the six-month mark, you will consistently achieve your monthly activity, pipeline creation and ARR targets, while running multiple self-sourced opportunities and engaging with different stakeholders across your accounts. You will also demonstrate forecast accuracy and actively contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team. 

By the end of your first year, you will be exceeding your annual quota, have built strong reference customers in your territory, and be recognized internally as a top performer. You will also play a role in shaping the sales playbook and be seen as a trusted partner to Marketing, Partnerships, Onboarding, and Customer Success in driving revenue growth.

What you will be doing:

  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, with a focus on new business acquisition.

  • Build and manage your pipeline through outbound activities and by leveraging marketing- and partner-generated leads.

  • Run complex sales cycles (3–6 months) involving multiple stakeholders across Finance, HR, and C-level.

  • Lead discovery calls, demos, and negotiations, building strong business cases for our solutions.

  • Deliver accurate forecasts and consistently achieve or exceed quota.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, Onboarding, and Customer Success to ensure a smooth customer journey.

  • Contribute to the development of our sales playbook and best practices.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • 3–5 years of proven closing experience in B2B SaaS, ideally mid-market (250–1000 employees).

  • Mandatory outbound experience: you have built your own pipeline and closed deals, not just relied on inbound. Bonus: you started as an outbound BDR before moving into closing.

  • Comfortable running 3–6 month sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
    Strong track record of
    forecast accuracy and exceeding quota.
    Familiarity with at least one sales methodology (e.g. MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, Challenger Sales, SPIN selling, SPICED, BANT).
    Soft skills: resilience, hunter instinct, autonomy, intrapreneurship, coachability, and ambition.

  • Adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
