Job description

About the Role

As our Senior Partner Manager DACH, you'll own and grow Tellent's partner ecosystem across the DACH market. You'll inherit an established network of reseller and referral partners, including a group of key strategic partners with significant growth potential — and your role is to turn that foundation into a stronger, more predictable source of pipeline and revenue.

You'll build trusted relationships with key partners, create joint growth plans, identify whitespace opportunities across their customer base, and hold partners accountable for execution. At the same time, you'll identify and recruit new high-potential partners, particularly within the HR ecosystem. This is a senior individual contributor role: you'll operate with significant ownership, treating the DACH partner business almost like your own business and bringing a clear point of view on where the market can grow.

You will report to the VP Partnerships.

Your 12-Month Journey

  • During the first 3 months: You build a strong understanding of the DACH partner ecosystem, establish relationships with key partners and Sales stakeholders, and define a clear plan for where to focus your time and investment.

  • Within 6 months: You're independently managing the partner portfolio, driving joint business plans with key partners, generating quality pipeline, and identifying new partner opportunities.

  • After 1 year: You're driving predictable partner-sourced pipeline and revenue across DACH, growing the strategic partner portfolio, and expanding the ecosystem with new partners that contribute meaningful business.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Strategic Partner Management: Own and grow Tellent's most impactful DACH partner relationships, building long-term relationships and joint business plans focused on mutual growth.

  • Partner Performance: Monitor partner health, pipeline and revenue performance, identify risks early, and hold partners accountable to agreed activities and results.

  • Commercial Growth: Generate partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, improve opportunity quality and conversion, and ensure strong collaboration with Sales throughout the deal cycle.

  • Account & Whitespace Planning: Work side by side with strategic partners to analyse their customer base, identify whitespace opportunities and build plans to generate new business together.

  • Partner Acquisition: Identify, qualify and recruit high-potential new partners, particularly across the HR ecosystem, assessing them based on strategic fit and revenue potential.

  • Activation & Enablement: Ensure new and existing partners are effectively enabled on Tellent, our products, ICP and sales approach, and turn partnerships into active commercial relationships.

  • Market Development: Bring a strong point of view on the DACH market, identifying opportunities beyond the existing partner ecosystem and translating ideas into concrete execution.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, particularly the DACH Sales team, as well as Marketing and other Partnerships colleagues to improve deal execution, campaigns, enablement and pipeline quality.

  • Operational Excellence: Identify recurring friction in the partner GTM motion and contribute to improving playbooks, cadences, partner planning and ways of working across the wider Partnerships team.

What You Bring

  • Partnership Experience: Several years of experience in a partner, channel or business development role, with a proven track record of building and growing strategic partner relationships.

  • DACH Market Expertise: Strong understanding of the German market and ideally an established network of relevant DACH partners.

  • SaaS Experience: Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally within HR tech or an adjacent mid-market/SMB environment.

  • Commercial Skill: Strong understanding of pipeline generation, forecasting, partner planning and commercial performance, with experience in reseller and/or referral models.

  • Strategic Thinking: Able to assess a partner portfolio, identify where the biggest opportunities are, and make clear decisions about where to invest time and resources.

  • Execution: You don't just have ideas — you turn them into structured plans, actions and measurable results.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: You take ownership of the DACH partner business as if it were your own, proactively looking for opportunities and challenging existing assumptions.

  • Relationship Building: Strong at building trusted relationships while also being comfortable setting expectations, challenging partners and addressing underperformance.

  • Self-Management: Highly organised and able to manage a broad portfolio, prioritising time effectively across partners, Sales and new opportunities.

  • Communication: Professional fluency in German and English, comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and operating across cross-functional teams.

  • Travel: Comfortable travelling regularly across Germany to build and maintain strong in-person partner relationships.

  • Pension scheme & wellness/fitness benefits
