Mission
Do you have what it takes to build winning teams? For Tellent in the Benelux we are looking for someone to build and scale a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) with the goal to surpass lead generation goals and maintain high standards in prospecting and lead qualification. We're seeking someone who is experienced in building such a team, understands the challenges of prospecting and can develop effective strategies to help the team achieve their full potential.
About the Team
You will initially hire and lead a team of 4 BDRs, reporting to the VP of sales and working closely together with the GTM team. Your role includes shaping the strategy, implementing the right processes and upon success further scale the BDR organization.
12-Month Journey:
First 3 months: Immerse yourself in Tellent’s culture, understand our products, and get to know the GTM team. Begin refining strategy, processes, set performance targets, and hire the BDR team. Actively engage in prospecting to understand our prospects, set the pace and model best practices.
After 6 months: Lead your team to achieve and exceed lead generation goals. Continue active prospecting while implementing continuous improvement and coaching initiatives to develop your team's skills.
After 12 months: Establish a high-performing BDR team with a strong pipeline of qualified leads. The BDR team is a proven new channel for Tellent at this point in time
What you'll be doing:
Build and manage the BDR team, focusing on hiring, coaching, and performance management.
Drive outbound prospecting efforts and support the team in exceeding KPI metrics.
Develop and implement the overall BDR strategy.
Utilize Hubspot and key Marketing Automation technologies to track and manage opportunities.
Report on team and individual KPI’s: pipeline, conversion rates, and monthly performance.
Collaborate with Revenue leaders for alignment, quality and to optimize team impact.
Job requirements
What you'll bring to the team:
5+ years SaaS sales experience, 3+ years of BDR team management experience
Proven track record in exceeding personal and team-based quotas and goals.
Proven track record in successfully on-boarding, developing, coaching and promoting BDRs.
Ability to develop and execute our outbound strategy and processes.
Hands-on approach to prospecting and strategy development.
Experience building and expanding a BDR team.
