As our Head of Product, you will be at the forefront of defining, developing, and delivering our world-class HR software. Reporting to our Chief Product Officer, you'll lead and inspire a team of talented Product Managers, working across multiple teams to build outstanding products that align with our strategic vision. Your mission will be to craft and execute a product strategy that drives our company’s growth and success.


We are looking for a candidate with a strong track record in product management, especially in the SaaS space. While we value years of experience, we prioritise high-quality experience that demonstrates your ability to lead, innovate, and deliver exceptional products. You’ll have the autonomy to shape our product vision, develop and manage the product roadmap, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Your role will also involve engaging with our customers, driving market presence, and mentoring the next generation of product leaders within our company.


Your Role

Your journey


First 3 Months

You'll focus on onboarding, learning about our product, teams, and processes. By the end of this period, you'll start reshaping our product strategy for the first half of 2025.

After 6 Months
You'll have taken full ownership of product management operations, refined the product roadmap, and improved collaboration and development processes. Your strategic contributions will be driving our product forward.

After 12 Months
You'll have developed and executed a long-term product strategy, significantly impacting growth and innovation. Your leadership will foster a collaborative culture, and your efforts will enhance our market presence and customer satisfaction.


Your responsibilities


  • Define and communicate product vision: Develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with the company’s objectives.
  • Develop and manage product roadmap: Create and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on market demand, customer feedback, and business value.
  • Ensure product quality: Establish high standards of product quality, ensuring all products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Foster cross-team collaboration: Partner with Product Management and Engineering to improve collaboration across the organization.
  • Own recruitment: Hire Product Managers to teams you are assigned to. Review and provide feedback on interview scorecards to maintain a high-quality interview process.
  • Support career development: Foster a thriving culture of collaboration while providing guidance and opportunities to develop product management talent and grow in their careers.
  • Contribute to market presence: Promote Tellent through activities like writing blog articles, giving talks, and engaging in social media efforts.
  • Foster knowledge sharing: Drive continuous adoption of world-class product management standards.

Job requirements

  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing SaaS products.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in managing and mentoring a team of product managers.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within a SaaS company.
  • (Nice to have) Experience in HR Tech
