Job description

While our business language is English, native or fluent Dutch is necessary due to the nature of this role.

Hi there 👋🏽 I'm Tania, Tellent's Head of SEO and Content. If you enjoy working on and testing various content formats, creating high-impact content and experiences, and working cross-functionally with some awesome team members, then I'd love to have a chat.

Your mission

As the SEO and content Manager for Benelux, you will develop, plan, and oversee the regional content roadmap and calendar to ensure high-impact content is produced, optimized, and distributed across multiple channels. You understand that content is not a one-size-fits-all discipline and that it's important to understand your target audience and tailor your strategy accordingly, with some experimentation along the way. Additionally, you have a strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, how it ties in and affects your strategy and tactics, and be able to execute on this.

Your priorities will be on evergreen content, but you will also support regional campaigns and collaborate closely with regional stakeholders. The role balances strategic content development with hands-on optimization and distribution, and you'll be responsible for ensuring that your content upholds our quality standards, drives growth, and supports business goals.

You'll report to the Head of SEO and Content and work closely with the local Benelux Marketing team.

About the team

As an SEO and Content manager, you'll join the SEO and Content team within the Marketing department. With you onboard, we'll be a team of four! As a team, we value collaboration, autonomy, ownership, and fun.

Our goal is to support People teams, HR professionals, and Leaders with actionable insights to help them hire the best talent, build better organizations, and empower them to unlock the full potential of their workforce. We achieve this by delivering value to our target audience through high-quality initiatives backed by in-depth market insights. We take pride in our role as a strategic driver of long-term business success and see ourselves as experts in our field.

On the other hand, the Marketing team at Tellent consists of over 25 professionals distributed across our primary regions: DACH, France, and the Benelux. Joining this team means surrounding yourself with ambitious people who want to do things differently.

Your 12-Month Journey

During the First 3 Months

You will focus on deep diving into Tellent's product offerings, the HR tech and regional landscape, market competitors, positioning, our ICPs, customers, and organization as a whole. You will also learn about our team goals and objectives for the year and how you can support us in achieving them. Lastly, you will also gain a good understanding of our current content assets and internal processes and work on your first initiatives.

Within 6 Months

You will have mapped out our Dutch content roadmap and coordinated these with different internal stakeholders to align efforts toward shared goals. You will have taken ownership of content development for the Benelux, collaborated with the rest of the marketing team on experiments, optimization, and campaigns, and worked on quarterly SEO and Content initiatives. You will also spearhead content distribution and repurposing efforts to execute our demand generation strategy.

After 1 Year

You will be leading our SEO & content strategy in the Benelux region. Together with the global SEO and Content team and the Benelux Marketing team, you'll work on new content ideas, initiatives, and campaigns and continue optimizing our existing assets while ensuring that it reaches our target audience.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Plan, prioritize, and execute content across multiple formats (blog, social media, templates, videos, etc.) and audiences.

  • Manage content repurposing and distribution to ensure visibility across relevant platforms.

  • Track, analyze, and report on SEO and content performance, using insights to refine strategies.

  • Analyze market trends, customer insights, and competitor strategies to identify opportunities for differentiation.

  • Manage freelancers by providing clear briefs, feedback, and direction, ensuring output aligns with our goals and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to create insightful, high-value content.

  • Work with regional and marketing stakeholders on initiatives, projects, and campaigns, and ensure that SEO and content best practices are implemented.

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • You have 4+ years of experience in content marketing and SEO, preferably in a B2B environment.

  • You have a structured approach with strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills, and are comfortable presenting to stakeholders at various levels.

  • You have experience working with various content formats and keen to experiment further to drive growth.

  • You have a strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and how they affect your efforts.

  • You have the ability to understand and make data-driven analyses, decisions, and recommendations for optimizations and improvements, and to report on metrics effectively.
