Senior Backend Developer (Elixir)

What You’ll be doing

As a Backend Engineer at Tellent, you’ll play a key role in building and evolving the analytics platform that powers reporting across Recruitee and Tellent HR. You’ll work hands-on throughout the entire product lifecycle — from shaping ideas and designing solutions to implementing new functionality and shipping it to production.

In close collaboration with the team, you’ll build systems that turn data into reliable, scalable insights, while actively improving backend performance, code quality, and long-term maintainability.

About the team

The Analytics Product Team is part of Tellent’s R&D organization and focuses on building our in-product reporting and analytics capabilities. Over the years, the team has developed highly customizable dashboards and rich visual reporting components that help customers gain actionable insights from their data.

The scope of our work is broad and impactful. We’ve delivered features such as a flexible report builder, careers traffic analytics, and even our own end-to-end ETL pipeline powered by Amazon Redshift. All of this is built using Elixir, giving us a robust and scalable foundation for data-intensive products. 

What you bring

• Strong skills in a backend programming language. Preferably Elixir, but we’re open to candidates from different technical backgrounds.

• Product thinking - you don't just implement specs, you think about whether we're solving the right problem. You're pragmatic and able to evaluate and make tradeoffs when necessary. Comfortable with experimentation and prototyping.

• Rock-solid database / PostgreSQL skills — from thoughtful schema design to efficient querying and the optimizations that follow.

• AI skillset — you effectively use AI in your daily work to learn new concepts and deliver work faster without compromising quality.

• Excellent communication skills in Polish and good command of English (B2).

  • For B2B:  20.000 - 28.000 PLN + VAT and 30 paid break days
